The X-Small and small are small enough to hide under the wing and front hackles of a tube fly if you want a little weight in the front of the fly. The rounded design ensures that the hackles aren’t cut if the fly brushes over the bottom.
Medium and large add real weight to the fly, so you gain fishing depth when you really need to get down in high, dirty water. They can be added on the back of a fly or tucked away between body parts.
